computational photography

Some things that fall under the rubric of “computational photography” will disqualify photos from TTG (see #1606)—

— but other computational technologies applied by smartphones at the recording stage are already allowed by TTG.

Thus as with many other photography tools, it is impossible to give a blanket “TTG” or “not-TTG” characterization of “computational”-related technology applications in photographs.

The term “art” is similarly neither 100% “TTG” or “not-TTG”; see #2001.
